Below videos show how X-Board is direct-printed with scratch-resistant UV inks, up to 250sqm/hr for up to 10 years indoor life expectancy.:

After X-Board is printed, it’s placed on CNC cutting tables fitted with oscillating and v-groove knife blades. A camera registration picks up marks from the print file and cuts out panels as necessary, performing through-cuts, kiss-cuts, v-cuts etc.

Edge Capping Techniques

X-Board Print is always best left with an exposed edge, for an eco-chic appearance, or one can apply a PVC edging shown opposite, using a hot-melt glue gun.
PVC edging is available for 10 and 16mm X-Board in white and black colours. Corporate Pantone coloured edging can be matched for production runs of 2,500mtrs.

X-Board Plus on the other hand, can be machine edge-banded like conventional MDF or particleboard, because of it’s rigid skins.
